The Vavilov Institute of General Genetics of the Russian Academy of Sciences. N.I. Vavilov Institute of General Genetics of the Russian Academy of Sciences is the oldest genetic institution in the system of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

At present, the Institute has 24 scientific laboratories, 4 scientific groups and 1 international center-laboratory
and 2 collaborative centers.
